The Cedar Falls Dance Team, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is affiliated with Cedar Falls High School. The team performs at many events throughout the year including football and basketball halftimes, the State Competition and various community performances.
The Cedar Falls Dance Team is broken down into two main groups, Varsity & JV. Varsity competes at many competitions throughout the year. JV is focused on learning and refining the skills required to succeed on our Varsity team.
We are also fortunate to have All Male and Coed dance teams. The All Male team is typically made up of 20+ men who compete at the State competition. The Coed team is 12-14 couples. Girls in coed must be current dance team members Sophomore through Senior on Varsity or JV. For more about All Male and Coed look here.
Alyssa Nolte | Head Coach
Alyssa has been involved in dance for many years. She has 16 years of studio experience as well as 4 years on her school’s varsity dance team. Alyssa graduated from UNI in spring 2013 with degrees in Marketing and Psychology. Alyssa works with the dancers on their skills and technique, cleans routines, and handles all things “technological” for the team. She also enjoys working with the All Male and Coed teams, helping them prepare their entertaining state routines. Alyssa started coaching Spring of 2011.
Korry Peters | Assistant Varsity Coach
Korry joined the coaching team in May 2015. As a former student at the Cedar Falls High School, Korry was a member of the dance team for two years, until graduating in 2011. Prior to dance team, she was involved in cheerleading for three years, which started the passion for dancing. After graduation she attended Wartburg College, where she was on their competition dance team, and transferred to UNI after freshman year. Korry graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is very thrilled to be back helping the team that she once loved being a part of!
Kalie Kirkwood | JV Coach

Holly Williams | JV Coach
Holly has 19 years of dance experience including 3 years on her high school dance team, 11 years of competitive studio dance, and 3 years on collegiate dance teams. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2015 with a degree in Visual Communications. She is excited to continue growing and strengthening the team while creating a fun and positive experience for the girls that they will always remember as she has with her own experiences. Holly started coaching Spring 2018.
